Windows Server 2016 ถูกถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีทางด้าน data center มาจาก Microsoft Azure data center ที่กระจายอยู่ทั่วโลก ช่วยให้เราสามารถเปลี่ยน data center หรือ private cloud ของเราให้กลายเป็น data center ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ในราคาที่เหมาะสม และมีเสถียรภาพสูง

Hand-on workshop MCSA 70-740 มีเนื้อหาครอบคลุมเทคโนโลยี software-defined storage, compute (virtualization), และ high availability (Failover clustering) ใน Microsoft Windows Server 2016 รวมถึงการติดตั้ง ดูแล และ monitor Windows Server ผู้เรียนจะได้รับความรู้ ทำความเข้าใจ ทราบถึงประโยชน์ ข้อจำกัด workaround และทางเลือกต่างๆ เพื่อนำความรู้ที่ได้ไปสร้าง บริหารจัดการ data center ที่มีโครงสร้างพื้นฐานมาจาก Hyper-V, Failover Cluster, และ low-cost storage ได้ด้วยตัวเองอย่างเหมาะสม และมีประสิทธิภาพ

ลักษณะการเรียนการสอน
ลักษณะของ Hand-On Workshop จะไม่เหมือนกับหลักสูตร Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) ที่ประกอบไปด้วยทฤษฎี 60-70% และ hand-on lab 30-40% แต่ในทางกลับกัน เนื้อหาจะเป็น real-world scenario labs ถึง 70-80% โดยเนื้อหาด้านทฤษฎีจะลดลงเหลือเพียง 20-30% ที่จะกระชับ สรุปสิ่งที่จำเป็น ข้อควรระวัง และ best practices ที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการทำงานจริงได้อย่างถูกต้องและเหมาะสม

หมายเหตุ: ด้วยเวลาที่มีจำกัด จึงเกรงว่าเราจะควบคุมเนื้อหาและเวลาไม่ได้ ดังนั้นการเรียนจึงถูกออกแบบใหม่ เป็น block ๆ ละ 50 นาที สำหรับ Lecture และ Lab ในแต่ละหัวข้อ โดยมีเวลาพัก 5-10 นาทีสั้นๆ ในแต่ละชั่วโมงครับ

Lab 2: Implement Windows PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) (11:00 PM - 11:50 PM)

    Test Push DSC
    Create a pull DSC server
    Deploy Desired State Configuration (DSC) to server farms
    Implement DSC reporting

Lab 3: Roles and Server Migration (13:00 PM - 13:50 PM)

    Migrate file server to Windows Server 2016
    Install and configure Hyper-V host
    Perform physical-to-virtual VM migration with Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter (MVMC)


Lab 4: Implement Windows Activation (14:00 PM - 14:50 PM)

    Implement Key Management Services (KMS), Active Directory-Based Activation (ADBA), and Active Directory Virtual Machine Activation (AVMA)
    Running Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit to assess your current environment

    Configure iSCSI target and initiator
    Configure Internet Storage Name Services (iSNS)
